Ruthless

I took out a loan with this company a few years back... Paid off every month until I hit a rock with other debts, organised a dmp with step change charity, who were amazing and we came to an agreement with everyday loans to repay a small amount back. This was fine, but this deal was informal and didn't protect either myself or my creditors. I was recommended to apply for an Iva to ensure that my debt would be reduced and my creditors such as everyday loans would get the money I owe... And it wouldn't impact my life as much... I thought I had nothing to worry about until everyday loans refused my Iva... Even though they are happy to receive a non informal agreement. Thanks for being awkward

Rude staff who look down their nose at you

I was in the bexleyheath branch last week, they didn't accept me which is fine but what I do have a problem with is the absolute rudeness of the staff. All she done was look down her nose at me like she was above me. They are all pretty useless to be fair . They could of rejected me on phone instead of making come down to their little set up. Don't use them. Interest rates are a joke, I was desperate so went to them.

Approved me over the phone, made me jump through hoops with application only to be declined which they didn't even inform me over the phone I wasn't even wanting a loan that badly just wanted to get rid of a loan that was higher interest

Avoid if Possible

Very friendly first contact on telephone. completely different experience at the Stockport office. Very pushy and rude and when they required some bank statements which I was only able to provide the following week. I got a look of disgust from the awful woman handling my case. I probably would have taken the loan out had it not been for her attitude.

Everyday loans strongly position themselves as a lender for people with bad credit and their website is filled with content about how to improve credit, what to do if you file for bankruptcy and how to consolidate debts.

They seem to take a more personal approach to lending. Once you have completed the short online form you’ll be given a conditional decision in only a few minutes, you’ll then need to pop into a branch to complete the application. If you like dealing with people face-to-face then you’ll most likely find this process comforting, however if you’re looking for a convenient loan application then this probably isn’t the right route for you as their branches are only in a handful of towns and cities across the UK.

At the time of writing Feefo.com gives Everyday Loans a whopping 99% for service, with the vast majority of customers rating them excellent or good. Looking at the reviews it seems that the face-to-face approach really works for them – customers have responded well to their staff and their knowledge of finance and have seemingly had very smooth journeys. On Choose Wisely it seems to be a slightly different story with mixed reviews causing a score of 3.7 out of 5.

Overall verdict: The personal approach has seemed to work for Everyday Loans and generally they appear to help their poor credit customers. The website could do with a little more information on it about loan terms, but I expect any questions are answered during the appointment in branch.
