Tuxedo | Pay Monthly Prepaid Card customer reviews.
1.4 out of 5 stars

After many weeks of research, my £484 has been reimbursed into my account. I was contacted by Janice after my initial review (Michael) who was able to contact the Third Party who are dealing with Tuxedo reimbursements. They are Railsbank who are a legitimate Global banking platform. They are inundated with requests for paybacks. I have to say that Janice worked wonders and my money was reimbursed the day after she spoke to me by phone. But it would have been far more simple if Tuxedo had outlined the procedure for cancellation and repayment on-line, there is little doubt that their failure to do this has given the impression of wrong-doings. Thank you Janice.

Our review of Tuxedo | Pay Monthly Prepaid Card
Tuxedo offer two prepaid cards that are identical in terms of benefits and the way they work, however the Pay Monthly Prepaid Card is aimed towards customers who will use it frequently throughout the month. The only difference between the two cards is that there is a monthly fee for this one which means that customers don’t pay fees on purchases and only a fee of 50p on ATM withdrawals, no matter the amount they’ve taken out.
One of the main draws of the Tuxedo Pay Monthly Prepaid Card is that it’s easy to load and control. The online management tool can be accessed 24/7 and allows customers to take action such as checking their balance, adding an additional cardholder or checking how much cashback has been earned. The Tuxedo Pay Monthly Prepaid Card works much like can be used anywhere in the world that the MasterCard logo is displayed.
Unfortunately, there are no reviews online for us to gauge the type of experience previous customers have had with the Pay Monthly Prepaid Card, or Tuxedo as a company. This could be due a number of reasons including the fact that they might not have issued that many of them.
Overall verdict: If you’re a frequent spender then the Tuxedo Pay Monthly Prepaid Card would be best as you can make as many purchases as you like on it without incurring any additional fees, whilst still benefitting from the same offers such as the cashback and online account manager.

About Tuxedo | Pay Monthly Prepaid Card
The Tuxedo Pay Monthly Prepaid Card has a monthly fee of £4.99 and an initial card purchase fee of £9.95. As there is a monthly fee, customers are not charged for making purchases or transactions and there is simply a standard 50p fee if they want to withdraw cash from an ATM. After topping up the Tuxedo Pay Monthly Prepaid Card the funds are held in an online wallet called an eccount that’s then accessed every time you use your card.
To keep an eye on the card such as your recent transactions and your Tuxedo Pay Monthly Prepaid Card balance, you can access the eccount any time online, by text or by calling their telephone team. You can also top up using any of these methods. There are two levels of card – one with a limit of £1,650 and another with £3,000 – to get the higher amount you will need to reapply but you could load up to £5,000 in total throughout the month. Customers are also able to add one or two cardholders to their account, depending on whether they have the £1,650 or £3,000 eccount.
Customers are also able to earn cashback when using their Tuxedo Pay Monthly Prepaid Card online with selected retailers. They will need to log in to the dedicated Tuxedo cashback site and access the retailer websites via that portal. There are varying levels of cashback across all of the brands, but they are well-known high-street names such as The Body Shop, Argos, Next and Sainsbury’s.
